All Aboard
FAQ
How a shared boat and a boat club actually run on All Aboard — not a brochure, the product.
The club
What do we actually get?
Your own club site. A week board to book the boat, a trip log with notes and photos of her condition, the booker’s phone when she is still at the quay, a crew forum, private messages, events for club meetings, receipts for the treasurer, and a skipper log of who did what and when. Not a personal calendar, not a kilometre of email, not a Facebook group.
Shared boat or Club?
A shared boat is for 2–5 people who bought a boat together: who has it this weekend, what the last trip left in the tank, and a board everyone can see. Club is for a boat club: several boats, verified crew, skipper desk, forum, events, treasurer, and phone codes so only members book.
Can we see the phone of the person who booked the boat?
Yes, when it matters. If a booking has started and the boat is still at the quay, crew can be shown the booker’s phone after the skipper’s wait. You do not have to hunt through a member list or an old SMS.
How do we log the boat’s condition?
Every booking has a trip log: notes and photos before you leave and after you come in. The next person sees fuel, gear, and damage on the boat — not in a thread from last July.
Do skippers get a change log of who did what?
Yes. The club log records who booked, cancelled, took over, changed a role, verified a phone, or wrote in the boat log. Admins see who did what, and when.
Can we put club meetings on the calendar?
Yes. Events sit next to bookings: launches, work days, annual meetings. Invite crew, take RSVPs, and pin a place on the map. It is not a personal Outlook calendar.
Do we still need a Facebook group?
No. The crew forum is for weather, keys, and who has Saturday. Mentions stay in the bell. It is the club, not a Facebook feed mixed with ads.
What about receipts and the treasurer?
Crew file a receipt from the trip. The treasurer (controller) reviews it and pays it back. The club keeps the paper trail instead of a shared inbox.
Will people get a reminder, or only see the board?
Both. Email goes out for bookings, cancellations, and times that are coming up. The skipper can also text the crew. Phone codes for new members use the same company SMS, with a cap of two texts per living member.
Accounts and crew
Where does it live?
On its own address, like our-folkboat.all-aboard.dk. all-aboard.dk is the company site. You sign in on your club and invite the rest from there. A custom domain can point at the same club.
One email, several clubs?
Yes. Each club is its own account. You can use the same email. The password on that club is only for that club.
How many clubs can one email open?
Three you own. You can still join other clubs as crew with the same email.
Who can book the boat?
Verified crew on that club. The skipper decides who is in. Unverified people can see the board but cannot book. Club plans can require a phone code before anyone books.
Can another club see our log?
No. Crew, bookings, photos, messages, and receipts stay on your club. Other clubs cannot open them.
How do I invite the others?
Send them your club address. They create their own login there. Same email as another club is fine.
Plans and paying
Do we pay per person or per club?
Per club. One shared boat is one plan. A club is one plan. Extra clubs are extra bills, even with the same email. Crew do not pay separately.
How do we pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Revolut Pay, in Danish kroner including VAT. Trials start free. The skipper pays from the club billing tab.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The skipper can close the club from billing. Access continues until the period already paid for ends. Ask us if you need the log deleted.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Two weeks for a shared boat or a club. You get the board, the log, and the crew list. Pay from the skipper desk when you are ready — or close the club.
