All Aboard
Terms of service
Updated 7 September 2026
These terms are the contract between you and All Aboard. All Aboard is a paid subscription. You rent a limited right to use the product. You do not buy the software, the brand, the code, or the service. By creating a club, joining a crew, or paying, you accept this contract.
1.Who we are
The provider is Kasper Jakob Nørkjær Jensen, trading as All Aboard, Denmark (we, us, All Aboard). Contact: info@all-aboard.dk. The product lives on all-aboard.dk and club sites we operate.
You are the person who creates an account, pays a subscription, or is invited onto a club. If you act for a club, association, company, or other people, you promise you have the right to bind them.
A consumer in the EU/EEA keeps the mandatory rights the law does not let us take away. Where these terms and that law conflict, the law wins for that consumer.
2.What All Aboard is — and is not
All Aboard is software: a club board for shared boats and boat clubs. It can show bookings, logs, photos, a forum, crew, bills, and similar tools we add or remove over time.
All Aboard is not a yacht club, marina, skipper, broker, insurer, harbour authority, or classification society. We do not command boats, check certificates, sell berths, or decide who may go to sea.
We may offer shared-boat sites (one boat) and club sites (several boats), with a free trial and paid plans. Features depend on the plan. We can change, limit, or retire features when we have a fair reason (security, law, abuse, or the product).
3.You rent access. You do not buy the product
All rights in All Aboard — software, code, databases we built, design, text we wrote, trademarks, logos, domain names, documentation, and the look of the product — stay with us and our licensors. Nothing here is a sale, assignment, or transfer of those rights.
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use All Aboard during a valid trial or paid subscription, only for your club’s own boat-club or shared-boat administration, and only as this contract allows.
You may not: copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or reverse engineer the product; scrape it; use it to build a competing service; remove notices; or use All Aboard or our name as if you owned them. Crew use the club under the skipper’s subscription. They get no extra licence.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you and without extra permission.
4.Clubs, accounts, and the skipper
Each club is its own site (a subdomain or a custom domain). The person who creates it is the skipper (owner). The skipper picks the plan, pays, invites crew, sets roles, and can export or close the club.
You must give true details, keep passwords and codes to yourself, and tell us if an account is misused. We may refuse a name, slug, or domain that is unlawful, misleading, or reserved (including admin and hq).
Crew act under the skipper. The skipper is responsible for people they invite, for what they post, and for keeping the club inside the law and these terms.
5.Your content
You keep whatever rights you already have in names, logs, photos, forum posts, receipts, and other material you put on a club (your content). We do not claim to own that.
You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display, backup, and otherwise process your content only to run, secure, support, and improve All Aboard, and to follow the law. That licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except copies we must keep (backups, logs, invoices, legal holds) for a limited time.
You promise you have the right to put that content on All Aboard, and that it is not unlawful, and does not trample other people’s rights. Do not upload other people’s photos, personal data, or club secrets unless you may.
6.Acceptable use
Use All Aboard only for lawful boat-club and shared-boat administration. You must not: harass or threaten people; post illegal or sexual material involving minors; store malware; attack or overload the service; probe other clubs; share logins you do not control; or use the board to run spam or another product.
We can remove content, freeze a user, or close a club if we reasonably believe these terms, other people’s rights, or the law are broken. We do not have to watch every post in advance.
7.Subscription, trial, and price
Paid plans are a rolling monthly subscription per club, in Danish kroner, including 25% Danish VAT (moms), unless a later invoice says otherwise. Current list prices are on all-aboard.dk. The skipper picks a plan; that is the contract price until they change or cancel it.
A trial (where offered) is free for a limited time, with the caps we show. A trial is still this contract. When the trial ends, the club freezes and can later be closed unless the skipper pays. If a card payment fails while founding a club, the skipper may continue on trial or cancel and free the address.
We may change future prices. A change takes effect from the next renewal after we have told the skipper (on the site and/or by email). If they do not accept the new price, they cancel before that renewal.
8.Payment
Cards and other methods run through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. The skipper must keep a valid method on file. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Failed renewal: we may retry, mail the skipper, and mark the club past due. If payment stays failed, we may freeze and then close the club. Fees already earned are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund.
Invoices may show the club name and CVR the skipper gave us. Wrong CVR or billing name is the skipper’s to correct.
9.Cancellation and the 14-day cooling-off right
The skipper can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the club billing page (Stripe customer portal) or by writing to info@all-aboard.dk. Cancellation stops the next charge. Access continues until the period already paid for ends, unless we close the club for breach.
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. All Aboard is a digital service. If you ask us to create the club immediately (you tick the box on the create form, or you start using the board), you agree that performance begins at once, and you lose that 14-day right once the club exists, as far as the law allows.
Closing a club deletes the crew’s board. Export first if you need a copy. Cancelling the subscription is not the same as deleting the club until the skipper (or we) close it.
10.Plans, caps, and changes of plan
Each plan has caps (crew, boats, storage, tools). We may block adds that go over the cap. Upgrades and downgrades run through billing; Stripe may prorate. A downgrade that no longer fits your usage can be refused until you are inside the new cap.
Custom or large clubs may be quoted separately. Those quotes still sit under this contract unless we sign something else.
11.Availability, support, and product changes
We aim to keep All Aboard up. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we do not sell an SLA unless we sign one. Status is described on the public status page. Maintenance, faults, and third-party outages (Stripe, mail, SMS, hosting) can happen.
Support is in English or Danish, via the site contact form and info@all-aboard.dk, during ordinary Danish working hours, without a guaranteed reply time.
We may access a club to fix a fault, to meet the law, or when staff start a support view after step-up. Support view is logged and cannot do skipper-only acts such as deleting the club or taking over billing.
12.Other companies we use
Payments: Stripe. Mail: the sender HQ connected (for example Resend or SMTP). SMS: the gateway HQ connected. Hosting: our cloud and database providers. They process data for us under their terms and the law.
If you connect a custom domain, Apple Pay, or similar, you must follow those vendors’ rules too.
13.Personal data
The privacy policy on all-aboard.dk/privacy is part of this contract.
For a club’s crew, bookings, log, and photos, the skipper (the club or shared-boat owners) is the data controller. We are the processor: we store that material so the board works. For accounts, billing, HQ, security, and the public sales site, we are the controller.
The skipper must have a legal basis to put crew data on All Aboard (club membership, contract, consent, or another basis in GDPR). They must not upload more personal data than the board needs.
14.Boats, people, and the real world
A booking on the board is not permission from us to take a boat. Seamanship, insurance, certificates, weather, alcohol, guests, and club house rules are yours. We are not on board.
We are not liable for collisions, grounding, injury, death, lost seasons, missed bookings, or any event at sea or on the pontoon, except where the law forbids that limit (for example our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence).
Do not treat the log, photos, or forum as a legal record we certify. They are tools the crew typed in.
15.No extra warranty
All Aboard is provided as is and as available. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the full extent Danish and EU law allow. We do not promise the board will meet a club’s bylaws or a surveyor’s idea of a logbook.
16.How far our liability goes
We are not liable for indirect loss: lost profit, lost data (beyond a reasonable chance to export), business interruption, or reputational harm, unless the law says we cannot exclude it.
Our total liability for All Aboard in connection with a club is capped at the subscription fees paid for that club in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law forbids a cap (death, personal injury, fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence).
Nothing here limits liability that Danish or EU consumer law does not allow us to limit.
17.If your club causes a claim
The skipper will defend and indemnify us against claims, fines, and costs that arise from: their content; their crew; their boats and real-world operations; their breach of these terms or the law; or personal data they had no right to put on All Aboard. We will tell them promptly and not settle a covered claim without a reasonable chance for them to take part, where that is practical.
18.Freeze, close, and leftover data
We may suspend or close a club or account for non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or long inactivity. We may refuse or reclaim a slug after a club is closed so the address can be used again.
Before close, the skipper should export. After close we delete club content within a reasonable time, except invoices, security logs, and records we must keep.
19.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version is posted on all-aboard.dk/terms with a new date. Material changes will also be mailed to the skipper’s billing email when we have one.
If you continue to use All Aboard after the new date, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, the skipper must cancel and stop using the club before they bite.
20.Danish law
These terms are governed by Danish law, without its conflict-of-law rules.
Consumers may bring claims in the courts of their own EU/EEA country of residence. Otherwise, the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction, with Copenhagen as the venue we prefer. You may also use the EU ODR site or a Danish consumer complaints board where that scheme applies.
If a clause is invalid, the rest stays. We can assign this contract (for example in a sale of the business). You cannot assign it without our written yes, except that a skipper may transfer the club to another owner inside the product where that function exists.
21.Write to us
Questions about this contract: info@all-aboard.dk or the Write to us form on all-aboard.dk. These terms are the whole agreement for All Aboard, and replace older terms for the same subject. They do not create a partnership, employment, or maritime command.
This is the contract we use. It is not personal legal advice. A Danish lawyer should read it before you rely on it in a dispute.
